Thanksgiving day in america 2020. Many local food banks see an influx of volunteers around the holidays which can actually overwhelm them. Whether its assembling thanksgiving meal boxes or serving food at a thanksgiving dinner there are a lot of opportunities to make the holiday special for families in need. We cant distribute 441 million meals statewide without your help.

In the spirit of giving thousands of well meaning people search for opportunities to volunteer at soup kitchens or food banks on thanksgiving day each year. Some food banks have moved their volunteer shifts online and are asking volunteers to help fundraise or spread awareness. Kitchen shifts last two to three hours and are available at 630 am 9 am and 11 am.
